Master Class : Jackson Browne

In early November, Artists for Peace and Justice Advisory Board Member and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Jackson Browne visited Audio Institute to teach a special master class. The students, who had been listening to his music all week in preparation for his visit, received Jackson very enthusiastically. His lesson focused on the differences between the creative processes of recording versus performing, drawing on his experience as both a composer and songwriter. As a finale, Jackson played his songs “Runnin’ On Empty” and “I’ve Been Out Walking (These Days)” for our students and faculty.
